Hello Leticia: Sorry for the loss of your son Marcos, there is no greater pain a parent could go through than the loss of a child. You mentioned you need serious help with dealing with the loss of your son Marcos. There are several avenues that you can take or use more than one of them, and they can all help you, whether it's seeking the help of a grief counselor, a grief group of parents who get together and talk about their grief , someone you may know who has suffered the loss of a child in the past and how they dealth with it or like in our case a spirit medium which helped us a great deal with our grief and helped us move foward with our lives. As for receiving signs from your son Marcos, like myself it can take time, because our grief is so strong, I was told that while we are grieving it can be more difficult to recognize or receive the signs that they try to get though to us and they do give us signs. In time, and it took me some time, you will be able to recognize the signs that your son Marcos is leaving you.

Take care
God Bless

Hi I have just finished viewing some of your pics. I lost my son Marcos 4 months ago. He commited suicide, I am having a very difficult time dealing with this. I blame myself even though my son was almost 19 years old. I need serious help with this, i want my son to contact me any way he can.

I agree completely with your comments about suicide and faith. I want nothing to do with a God who punishes people who die by suicide. That image of a vengeful God has been concocted by humans who like to play “God” and judge others. The God I believe in and who is reflected in the Scriptures, particularly in the gospels, is a loving God. If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus. Jesus is compassionate, not condemning, unless it is the hypocrites who like to judge others. Our loved ones who died by suicide as a result of the overwhelming emotional pain they experienced are accepted by the real God, not shunned.

Thank you for your kind words Sherri. Knowing I have been able to help someone or touch someone’s life after their own sad losses means more than I can say. Warm Regards, John

I first of all want to thank you for this post, and for all the help that mygriefspace has given me in my time of grief, being 23 and losing the love of your life so suddenly, was hard. A little harder for someoen who started believing in God again. I have not once doubted there was a reason behind my loves death, I have questioned, but I know that is normal. Thank you again for all the help.

Thank you for writing you blog. I am a survivor of a murder/suicide. My father killed my mother, uncle, wounded my aunt, and then came to my work and killed himself. I am a christian. I love Jesus with all that I have, but it is very difficult to understand the guilt and shame that goes along with such violence entering your life when you try very earnestly to do what Jesus would want. Anyway, yours words helped somewhat.
